The Tourism Promotion Contingency Fund (TPCF) grant program was designed to increase overnight visitation to the City of Williamsburg by providing startup funding for 1) the launch of new projects/activities or 2) funding for expanded or new elements to existing projects/activities. It is not designed to provide year-over-year support of repeat projects/activities.
Funding requests should be submitted for an initial review at least three (3) weeks prior to presentation to City Council. Applications received within three (3) weeks of the next City Council meeting will be held to the next meeting month.
Upon completing the application, you will be contacted with questions and/or further instructions from staff.
This is a rolling grant. You may apply at any time to be considered. Program funds are available until they run out. Subject to City Council appropriation, TPCF program funds are refreshed at the start of each fiscal year (July 1).
